Alicia Ye is currently a junior at Groton School in Massachusetts. She is actively engaged in the Groton community engagement team, where she reaches out to various organizations and dedicates time to their causes. With the team, she has helped pack and deliver food and clothing to those affected by the earthquake in Syria, took on tasks and responsibilities while working with animal shelters, organized recreational activities and provided one-on-one companionship with senior citizens, and much more. In addition, Alicia has always been passionate in promoting education, which led her to work with students ranging from 1st grade to 8th grade in various math and science competitions, as well as fun extracurricular activities. Since she was young, Alicia has extended her love for athletics to children and adults with intellectual and physical disabilities. Through her enthusiastic engagement, she shares the joy of sports, promoting physical well-being and fostering a sense of belonging. Alicia’s dedication to the community reflects her values and will continue to shape her contributions in the future.

Oregon Chinese Coalition is proud to join the President of the United States in recognizing the volunteers who consistently take the time to make a difference in the lives of others. Therefore, it is a great honor to present the President’s Volunteer Service Award (PVSA) to Alicia Ye.
