Jayden is a freshman at Westview high school, he actively participates in a FTC robotics team and volunteers in many STEM events such as setting up venues for First Lego League and for First Tech Challenge. He collected over 1,000 bottles in his neighborhood for his team’s bottle drive to provide aid to Ukrainian people with medical and safety equipment. He also provided consultation to the neighborhood FLL team to prepare them for competition. Ever since middle schoo,l he has enjoyed helping those in need by cooking at the Bethany Presbyterian Church for homeless veterans in the Doreen’s Place.

Oregon Chinese Coalition is proud to join the President of the United States in recognizing the volunteers who consistently take the time to make a difference in the lives of others. Therefore, it is a great honor to present the President’s Volunteer Service Award (PVSA) to Jayden Mei.
