I am Ophilia Lu, a junior at Lake Oswego High School in Oregon. I am a member of the Lake Oswego City Youth Council, a committee leader of the Asian American Student Union at Lake Oswego High School, the vice president of the Lions Club VisionEnvoy Branch of Lake Oswego, as well as a Youth Leader of the Chinese Youth and Women Development Organization. I enjoy emceeing, writing, reading, and learning about history and culture. I also love to volunteer and serve the community, as well as teach people about history and different cultures.

Oregon Chinese Coalition is proud to join the President of the United States in recognizing the volunteers who consistently take the time to make a difference in the lives of others. Therefore, it is a great honor to present the President’s Volunteer Service Award (PVSA) to Ophilia Lu.
