Derica, a freshman at Lincoln High School, has been passionately involved in volunteering for the past six years. Each year, she dedicates over a hundred hours to community service, focusing on various underserved communities. Her long-term service commitments include volunteering at Camp Meadowood Springs, a camp for children with special needs, and at Transition Projects, shelters that help people transition to permanent housing. In addition to these efforts, she participates in numerous cultural and service projects. Derica is a natural leader whose compassion for helping others has inspired many around her. Her efforts have significantly improved the local community, creating a more supportive and inclusive environment for everyone
