Doris is currently an 8th grader at Hope Chinese Charter School. Engaging various volunteer opportunities in different communities makes her understand the significant importance of helping other people and the valuable experience that she gained from these activities. Doris also believes that volunteering is a powerful way to make great support and contribute to her future endeavors in serving different communities, and she is committed to continue this work throughout her life. Some of the volunteer opportunities Doris has participated in include the Phoenix Hanfu Team, Dragonfly Yoyo Team, Oregon food bank and Tualatin library, it makes her truly fall in love with volunteering and award happiness from the help she gives to the community. In order to make our community better, volunteering has become a passion that she wholeheartedly invests her time and effort into. Volunteering has become an important part whenever I grow. Looking ahead, Doris is excited to continue serving those in need, sharing Chinese culture with others, and contributing to the well-being of her community. Volunteering has become a core part of her life, and she is eager to keep investing her time.
