Ethan is a Junior attending Westview High School and has been a dedicated member in helping the community. He takes inspiration from both his friends and others influential in his life and enjoys spending time volunteering and bettering the community. In this past year, Ethan has volunteered at both the Hillsboro Eye Clinic, as well as certain OCC events, helping be an impactful member of the medical community around him. He has learned meaningful skills and learned new things about his career pathway, has created his own nonprofit organization, and dedicated time to extending his passion beyond volunteering. Ethan has made it his mission to help contribute more to the community around him, as well as make the world a safer, healthier place.

Oregon Chinese Coalition is proud to join the President of the United States in recognizing the volunteers who consistently take the time to make a difference in the lives of others. Therefore, it is a great honor to present the President’s Volunteer Service Award (PVSA) to Ethan Knapp.
