Shunyu is a junior at Westview High School. With a strong passion for both fencing and music, Shunyu has found meaningful ways to contribute to his community through these interests. In fencing, Shunyu has volunteered at multiple youth fencing camps as an assistant coach, sharing his skills and enthusiasm with younger athletes. Additionally, he served as an assistant coach at the March NAC, further deepening his commitment to supporting aspiring fencers. In music, Shunyu co-founded Beats of Bethany, a non-profit organization that empowers youth to support their community through the arts. The organization hosts seasonal concerts at senior homes, bringing joy and connection to the residents while providing young musicians a platform to share their talents. Through his efforts in both fencing and music, Shunyu continues to pursue his passions while making a positive impact on the lives of others.
