In school, Yining is the Vice President of HOSA, Social Media Director for Key Club, and Event Coordinator for the Asian and Pacific Islander (API) Club. As Vice President of HOSA, she promotes health-related awareness and engages students in health-focused service activities. As the Social Media Director for Key Club, Yining uses her creativity to spread information about volunteer opportunities and encourage others to get involved. In her role as Event Coordinator for the API Club, she leads events that allow students to share and celebrate their cultural heritage. Outside of school, Yining enjoys playing piano and dancing, which help her express herself and stay connected to her heritage. She is passionate about making a positive impact in her community and is dedicated to giving back through service, leadership, and hard work.
Oregon Chinese Coalition is proud to join the President of the United States in recognizing the volunteers who consistently take the time to make a difference in the lives of others. Therefore, it is a great honor to present the President’s Volunteer Service Award (PVSA) to Yining Tang.
