第四届文化体验日成功举办

午后举办的文化体验日现场气氛热烈。熙攘的人群与精彩的表演交相辉映，完美诠释了‘人山人海’的热闹景象。

衷心感谢所有设置摊位、带来手工活动的学校与公益团体，感谢登台献艺的师生与个人，以及每一位忙前忙后的义工。正是大家的合力，为孩子们营造了一个沉浸式的文化环境，让他们和家长在潜移默化中领略到中华文化的独特魅力，也让平日里学习中文的辛苦变得更有意义。

尽管近年来大环境面临挑战，但各校区的中文班却办越办越红火，有的班级甚至需要抽签入学。这份成绩背后，离不开老师们的坚守与家长的鼎力支持。本次活动特别增设了圆桌会议，校区主管、校长、校董与中文老师们齐聚一堂，气氛融洽得出人意料。在短短一小时内，大家碰撞出了许多极具建设性的火花，比如提议让各学区轮流主办文化日。这意味着明年的活动很可能会走进某所高中。想到这个文化盛会未来将在不同社区开花结果，相信大家和我们一样内心充满了期待与兴奋。

The phrase ‘People mountain, people sea’ was heard throughout the 2026 Culture Day, perfectly capturing the vibrant energy of the event. For three hours, hundreds of students, parents, and teachers gathered to immerse themselves in Chinese culture, from martial arts and calligraphy to chess and live performances.

A productive roundtable meeting between school district leaders, principals, and teachers sparked several inspiring ideas, including the proposal to host Culture Day at a different school district each year on a rotating basis. Additionally, about twenty community members stepped up as Mandarin tutors, providing essential support to students who may not have access to Mandarin speakers outside of the classroom.
