We are continually inspired by the enthusiasm of individuals who embrace cultures from around the world. We firmly believe that education is essential to fostering understanding across diverse cultures and communities. We also recognize that learning a new language can be challenging, especially when access to supportive learning environments is limited. In response, the local Chinese American community is eager to offer its support.
By bringing together students enrolled in Chinese language classes and programs across public, charter, private, and weekend schools, we can create an immersive and enriching learning experience centered on Chinese culture. At the same time, we can cultivate a strong, supportive ecosystem by providing shared resources, training, programs, and inspiration — empowering students, educators, and families to grow and thrive together.
我们总是被不同肤色的孩子们学习中文的热情所鼓舞。我们坚信教育是促进不同文化和不同社区人民之间理解的关键。我们知道学习另一种语言可能是一个相当大的挑战，尤其是在学习环境不那么完备的情况下。当地华人社区愿意提供帮助。通过将公立、特许、私立和周末学校的中文课程和项目的学生聚集在一起，给大家提供身临其境学习和体验中华文化机会，并帮助创造一个分享资源和相互支持的环境。举办文化体验日会是一个很有益的尝试，

The tutor information will not be posted online. It will only be available in print at Culture Day or shared upon request by Chinese teachers afterward.
OCC only helps solicitating the potential helpers for the Chinese homework. Any arrangements will be a free-will contracts between the helpers and the families. OCC will not be responsible for the accuracy of the information provided by potential helpers, nor will it conduct background checks.
