年画在中国民俗文化中具有举足轻重的位置，老百姓通过张贴年画迎接新年的到来。它们常常有一个普遍而有象征意义的主题，即宝宝抱着一条鲤鱼，象征着对即将到来的一年财富充裕的期望。

社区志愿者齐聚兰苏中国花园，设立一个桌子，让游客可以制作自己的年画。这项活动给所有参与者带来了喜悦，每个人都希望从他们在花园中的访问中带走好运。

Nianhua (Chinese New Year Paintings/Posters) is a long-standing tradition in Chinese culture as a preparation for the New Year. A common and symbolic theme often portrayed in these artworks is that of a baobao (baby) holding a fish, usually a Carp, representing the aspiration for abundant savings in the upcoming year. Community volunteers gathered at Lan Su Chinese Garden to host a table where tourists could create their own Nianhua. This activity brought joy to all participants, each hoping to carry good luck with them from their visit to the garden.
