Brianna Chen - Silver Award

Brianna is a sophomore at West Linn High School who is passionate about volunteering and giving back to her community. She has volunteered at the Clark Center through Transition Projects monthly, where she enjoys cooking, serving meals, and interacting with community members. She also volunteers at her school’s tutoring center and tutors outside of school. Through these experiences, she has developed a deeper appreciation for service and has been inspired to continue supporting others in meaningful ways.

Brianna is an active member of the HOSA board and participates in ISEF, where she also serves as a mentor as part of the ISEF leadership team. In addition, she is involved in several other clubs and organizations, including Red Cross Club, Key Club, Computer Science Club, API, and WiSTEM

Beyond volunteer and leadership work, Brianna is a member of the high school’s varsity girls’ golf team and enjoys competing in tournaments throughout the year. In free time, Brianna also enjoys playing the cello and spending time watching shows and movies with family and friends.

Oregon Chinese Coalition is proud to recognize the volunteers who consistently take the time to make a difference in the lives of others. Therefore, it is a great honor to present the Community Volunteer Service Award (CVSA) to Brianna Chen.
