Zora Persun - Gold Award

Zora is a junior at Jesuit High School. This is her third year on the Jesuit FRC Robotics team where she currently serves as the Business Lead. With her robotics team, she mentors younger students with their robotics programs and coordinates STEM events. She is also on the editorial team of her school’s literary-arts magazine where she curates art, photography, and writing. Last summer she volunteered at Camp Stand By Me and plans on returning again next year. Additionally, she plays piano at Valley Catholic’s Music School and shares her music at assisted living homes and various school events.

Oregon Chinese Coalition is proud to recognize the volunteers who consistently take the time to make a difference in the lives of others. Therefore, it is a great honor to present the Community Volunteer Service Award (CVSA) to Zora Persun.
