为中美人民友协西部大会演出

周五来自美国西部各个州，还包括几位来自夏威夷的代表们，齐聚在波特兰市，召开了友协(US-China Peoples Friendship Association)的西部大会。会议主持者通过介绍连找两个华人组织，希望能有本地华人为代表们做一场小型演出，却都未能如愿，直到她通过OCC网站的联络方式找到了我们。我们能为这些从中美建交开始就为两国人民友好奉献的人们有机会做些什么，深感荣幸。

联系到太极林，PSU的三位同学，和作为OCC文化使者的Northwest Chinese Dance Troupe，大家都是欣然接受了邀请，并提前一个月积极排练，直到前天，大家克服了舞台的限制，为与会代表们呈现出了一场精彩的节目。 今天收到主持者的邮件，她写道，

The program mix was perfect. Master Lin showed the fluidity of Taichi that can only be done by a master. The university student’s number showed how beautiful the (water) long sleeves can expand one’s imagination, and lastly, the most entertaining number; the ladies danced in unity and polish. Many people came to me to say how much they enjoy this number,

Thanks again for all your hard work. Without this component, the conference would not be complete and perfect.

非常感谢参加演出的每一个人，大家都为找车位在周边转悠了20来分钟，很多人还没有顾得上吃晚饭，演出结束，看到旁边桌子上剩下的点心，正好用来“充饥”。
