The President of OCC and our Legal Counsel organized a meeting with the City of Portland Community Safety Division and DOJ Hotline staff to connect with the residents of SE 122 Ave, who recently experienced a violent home break-in during daylight hours. Through our discussions, we came to a mutual understanding that the residents do not need another round of safety education; instead, what the community truly needs is to come together and provide real support to help these families restore a sense of home and security in their lives.
