Dr. Khoo was a highly esteemed community leader within the Chinese American community, a reputation he earned during the 80s and 90s. Through his wisdom, dedication, and focus on preserving Chinese American culture, he achieved remarkable milestones, solidifying his legendary status within the community. Notable among his direct accomplishments were the Chinatown Gate and Dragon Boat Race, which stand as enduring symbols of his contributions. Moreover, the realization of the Lan Su Chinese Garden owes much to his relentless efforts and vision.
