12街老人公寓老人们游兰苏园

今天，来自 Rose Schnitzer Tower 的14位老年人愉快地参观了兰苏园。这个美丽的花园勾起了他们对家乡的美好回忆。一位祖母甚至穿上了她多年前在苏州购买的一件丝绸衣服，直到今天才有机会穿上它。他们喜欢阅读刻在柱子上的诗歌，讨论园中各处的植物物种。许多人表示希望自己以后能够独自回来。这就是我们希望人们明白的：这个花园是我们社区珍爱的后花园。

Today, 14 seniors from Rose Schnitzer Tower had an enjoyable visit to Lan Su Chinese Garden. The stunning garden brought back fond memories of their hometowns. One grandmother even wore a silk garment she had purchased many years ago in Suzhou but had never had the opportunity to wear until today. They took pleasure in reading the poems inscribed on the columns and engaging in discussions about the various plant species. Many expressed a desire to return on their own. This is what we hope people understand: that this garden is our community’s cherished backyard.
