社区参加俄勒冈亚太联盟年会

来自咱们社区16个大人和青少年代表OCC并作为唯一代表华人社区组织参加了APICCO（俄勒冈亚太联盟）年度筹款会。活动规模很大，但是只有OCC有两个桌子，除了历届interns之外，有青少年出席的也只有我们。这些都显示出了我们社区强烈的参与意识，也明确表明我们的支持态度。

在会上碰到了上次竞选国会席位的带有一半华人血统的Jamie，她决定明年再战，只不过换了对手。我们的交谈让她了解了华人社区和我们作为Chinese Americans的诉求，她有一种恍然大悟之感。只要明白了就永远不晚，鼓励社区成员和青少年加入她的竞选团队，尤其是她的政策主张变得更加的亲民和接地气。https://jamiefororegon.com/

Thank you, APICCO, for inviting us to join the Asian Pacific Islander American communities in experiencing the unity and solidarity as we engage community members in civic and political arenas. Sixteen of us from the Chinese American community had a wonderful time and gained valuable insights from the gathering.
